Over the past few years, I’ve had more and more fun, cooking. I enjoy making desserts more, but it’s also fun to prepare main dishes. One slight problem though, is that I live at home. Having 7 people in the house doesn’t exactly lend itself well to experimenting with food, especially when not many are prepared to try something new. Plus, I can be notoriously slow when I try new recipes. >_<
One thing that I look forward to when I have a place of my own, is being able to cook whatever I want in my own kitchen. I’ve always wanted to be that person; the one who has the best <insert food/dish> that everyone looks forward to having at a potluck or special occasion. I don’t mean to sound conceited though. What I mean is that I enjoy making food for others and I value their opinions of my cooking. I can’t wait to spread my culinary wings, so to speak, and see what happens.
