Some things my ‘Organizational Behaviour’ instructor told the class this week:

• Never dismiss someone’s feelings or concerns, especially by saying “Why are you so worried about it?” …etc.
• Approach/respond to behaviour according to the context in which it occurs.
• People tend to underestimate the external factors of someone’s situation and overestimate the internal.

This class is turning out to be very…I wouldn’t say profound, but it brings some things to light and backs my support in others. It’s been a surprising class so far.
