Ray called me a grammar Nazi today. I sometimes pick on his use of words, so it was fair enough. Nevertheless, I seem to have a growing list of pet peeves that pertain to grammar. I’m not saying that I have perfect grammar, I definitely don’t. What bothers me is when I hear people making grammatical errors that they should have learned to avoid, back in elementary. The most recent ones I’ve heard/seen:

- “I did really good on the test.”

- “Ascared of…”

- using apostrophes to spell out plural forms

Makes me want to pull my hair out when I see/hear this stuff.
